Using the very best local produce from Cornwall we offer an impressively extensive menu, from traditional pub classics to our seasonal signature dishes. Our specials are always changing so you will never be stuck for choice! Whatever you fancy, we’ve got something for you –as well as all the tasty savoury choices we have a selection of homemade desserts to tempt you with.

We grow as much as we can in our kitchen garden which is a big part of our menu, mainly focusing on herbs, fruits & salad produce.

Wines & Beers

Our Beers come from the South West’s leading brewer, with an unfailing commitment to quality and innovation, they produce many of the South West’s most successful and popular beers including, Tribute, Proper Job, Hicks, Cornish Best and Korev lager, beers of which Walter Hicks would have been proud of. With our cask marque award, we at the Polgooth Inn strive to serve our beers at the highest quality possible. Look out for our craft, seasonal ales and fantastic bottled beers!

We work very closely with our wine supplier Walter Hick’s Wines to produce an extensive wine list, with offerings from all over the world and our own doorstep in Cornwall. In 2013 we won Wine House of the Year sponsored by Joseph Perrier.
