Playing Live - A Little Twisted

TWISTED.jpg

A firm favourite at the Polgooth Inn, Deb Johnston & Traci Parsons gigged in and around Cornwall between 1998 - 2003 as part of the band Twisted, Traci was lead vocalist and Deb the drummer/backing vocalist. Traci's uncanny resemblance (both visual and vocal) to Alanis Morissette led to them also forming the tribute band Alanisette which gigged alongside Twisted.

In 2003 Traci left the band and the girls lost contact for several years until finally meeting up again in 2014 ....the power of facebook :)

A catch up over coffee soon turned into a singsong and before they knew it "A Little Twisted" was born.

They showcase their amazing harmonies in several songs from back in their Twisted days, including:

(of course) Alanis Morissettte
Sheryl Crow
Natalie Imbruglia
Skunk Anansie
No Doubt
Cranberries

as well as playing tracks by more recent artists such as:

Bruno Mars
Adele
Jason M'raz
George Ezra
Beyoncé

Their extremely diverse set has gone down a storm with audiences of all ages since they started gigging in the summer of 2014.... if you have not seen them they are definitely worth a look/listen!

Sunday Sessions - Kaj

Musician & coffee lover based in Cornwall

I consider myself the luckiest man I’ve ever met. Simply because I get to make the thing I love most into my career - writing and performing music.

Having recorded two albums and played several hundred weddings to date, I’m confident in my abilities. My live sets consist of guitar, piano, percussion and my vocals but there’s always room for more.

At the age of six my step-father coaxed me onto the stage with a tambourine. From that moment on everything changed. To this day, entertaining an audience still makes me smile and it's what I love to do.

Coffee and cake also makes me smile - I know it's not rock 'n roll, but I like it!
